deceitful sales tactics

We visited your Toyota dealership yesterday, left very disappointed by the quality of the service. We inquired about and test drived Toyota Highlander 4x4. We were told by the two salespersons (one named David, the other one was supposedly David's supervisor) that the base package that starts at $28K does *not* have 3rd row seating, and we were told by both that if we want 3rd row seating, we have to purchase Sports or Limited Edition starting at $34K. As a result, we wasted at least one hour of our time to try to figure out the pricing on a Sports Edition with both salespersons. After doing a bit of research afterwards on our own, we realized that the base 4x4 model actually does come with 3rd row seating standard, and its MSRP starts at $28K (info from the official Toyota web site). We feel cheated and deceived that the two salespersons told us erroneous information in order to get us to buy a higher priced Sports edition that we do not actually need. Will never go back to Autoland Toyota again, and we will make sure other online forum readers know how dishonest sales tactics were used at Autoland!!
