poor dealership

Written by William lazaro on 03-Feb-2009

I am writing this letter to advise you of the scandalous practices being implemented by Orange County BMW, located in Monroe NY. I have several concern to advise you of which are related to the purchase of my 2007 BMW 328i from Orange County BMW. My first concern that I must advise you about, when I purchased my car on July 23rd 2008 form Orange County BMW, I was promised that all the minor and major body damage would be fixed to my satisfaction Which included chips and stains on the hood, dings on the roof and trunk, scratches on the front and rear bumpers and an unsightly out dent on the rear bumper; the sale of the car was contingent upon this agreement. I was told all repairs would be done before delivery of the car to myself, However , upon arrival on the date set to pick of the vehicle the repairs had not been done. I was ready not to take the vehicle until the repairs had been made, but I was promised by Robert, the dealer that sold me my car, that in fact I could take delivery because they are BMW and don't do things like not following thru with what was promised. So with that in mind, and at this point having a relatively good experience I agree and take delivery of the vehicle. I then return to the dealer about a month after the purchase of the car, to have the repairs made to the vehicle. I was told by Robert to write up a punch list of all the problems on the car that we had discussed, and all the repairs would be taken care of. I left the car for about a week and half, then I was called and told the car was all fixed and ready to be picked up. I went to the dealer which is about an hour from my home to find that in fact that almost none of the repairs had been completed, and the ones that had been completed had been done so in a manner that was not to my satisfaction ; you could see a difference in the new paint to the old paint and in fact see the damage right thru the new paint that was applied. I then talked to Robert again and was made another appointment to bring the c

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE

Written by Joan on 30-Sep-2008

I have never received as poor customer service in the car buying process as I have from Orange County BMW. They need to have their entire staff re-trained on BASIC customer service elements such as politeness, helpfulnes, responsiveness, and courtesy. They should start with teaching people to return phone calls. I will post my comments on every site I can so that people who might be thinking of dealing with them, DON'T!I've tried to find out who's actually running that place and it appears no one knows. No wonder, they can't handle basic customer service. does anyone know who owns this dealership....he needs to know what his people are doing to his business
