Using search lights for advertising

I and many others in my community are angered by Murrieta Mitsubishi's use of search lights for advertising. We leave in a 45 mile zone of Palomar Observatory and such abuse of the night sky is a violation of Murrieta's municipal code (16.18.110). If Murrieta Mitsubishi needs to claim the sky as their advertising space, then business must be bad, and they don't deserve our consumer confidence.
