I was Miss Led! Ira Nissan Woburn

We went to Ira Nissan (Woburn) to buy a new car and were quoted a price that was just out of our price range. This was no problem; we liked the car but figured we would just have to consider other options. I received a call from the dealer the next day quoting a monthly payment that was 100$ less then their previous quote, figuring that this quote was too good to be true I called the dealer back and he confirmed that the monthly payment would be 100$ less. I left work early to get to the dealership before it closed (6:00 on a Fri.) and was met by the Sales Manager, who then for the third time confirmed that the monthly payment would be 100$ less then what was quoted to us the night before. We looked at the car again and decided on the color and sat down to iron out the rest of the details. The sales manager came over with cost quote paper to sign and to both the surprise of my finance and I the monthly payment was reduced by 13$ a month. We immediately demanded an explanation and received a half as_ed apology. They continued to negotiate and we continued to give them the benefit of the doubt (I know this was not a mistake, they wanted us back in the dealership on the last day of the month). We told them that we could handled a payment 80$ more then the price we were quoted on the phone that day, and they would not give us that curtusy. To be nickeld and dimed after being miss led by a major MA Motor Group (Ira Woburn) was very frustrating and disappointing.
- We are a young couple in our mid 20's and felt that we were taken advantage of. I will never be able to recommend an Ira Motor Group dealership again.
