Worst scam ever

Written by Julie Ryberg on 11-Dec-2007

I went to this dealership on Saturday Dec. 8,2007. I told the salesman who "helped" me that I was in the market for a used vehicle between 7 and 9 thousand dollars. First he took all the information I had with me as far as my drivers license, pay stubs, and bills with my current address on them for processing. Then he proceeded to show me nothing but new cars over 15 thousand each. First this is not even close to what I asked for but I set that aside and continued to look. Now what happened next is partially my fault. I left the dealership and headed for home. I realized once I arrived home that I had left my information there. So I called the dealership and informed them that I would be back on Monday to retrieve it. The salesman contacted me on my cell phone that evening to let me know they had it safe. On Monday I called to let them know what time I would come by that evening after work. I receieved a message on my cell from the salesman himself saying that he was off that day and that he had taken my license home with him. Now I don't know proper procedure and what not but I believe that my license should have never left that building. I was also informed that if I wanted it back I could come to his home and get it. This made me mad. So I went to the dealership and spoke with the finance manager who told me it was probably an accident (which is not how it was stated in my voicemail) and that if I wanted to get my license it was safe to go to the salesmans home. I was also informed that they didn't know where my other information was so I would just have to come back later. I have never been so angry and at this point if they gave me a free car I would still refuse due to the events up until now. If I were you I would definately look else where for a vehicle so you don't have to go through what I have.

hack mechanics

Written by glen on 14-Nov-2007

We brought a 2004 Suzuki Forenza with an intermittent starting problem. After numerous attempts and replacement of a resonator, starter and ECU computer they were not able to fix the issue. Ronnie Warren, the service manager, had kept the car for 30days(with no rental car provided); and after $700 spent we still had an intermittent starting problem. Ronnie Warren was not helpful and uncooperative when asked questions and also proceeded to yell when I demanded answers. We had to call Suzuki Corporation ourselves to get this issue resolved. Why Ronnie had not contacted his tech line from the beginning; is beyond me. We finally had to retrieve the car and take it to Planet Suzuki (another dealership) and they were able to fix the issue in one day. Harrelson Suzuki seems not to have any diagnostic tools and their mechanics are incompetent.
