I just got home from spending 4 hours in the office of one of Hares salesmen who was at my car door before I had my car turned off which irritates me. The sales man was nice enough but I was not allowed to look at anything before they ran my credit report granted maybe my credit isn't perfect but who has great credit these days anyway. I was not allowed to look at any car I was interested in I was shown 2 cars total and the ones which were advertised on Hares website on the under 10,000.section which is what I was looking for I was not permitted to look at those. I was told they were only cash sales.. I was not looking to buy a new car by any means.. I was looking for a decent used car that would last for 3 years or so which they had several online that were in my price range but when I found an acceptable car they wouldn't tell me the asking price or for how many years it would be financed for but I was told it would be at my 200.00 a month payment range .. Turns out they wanted double my down payment amount only give 500.00 for my trade in and wanted 340.00 a month which I can't afford and I told them what I could afford up front so we didn't waste each others time.. Do us all a favor Hare Auto and if you can't get us into a decent vehicle for the amount we can afford just tell us up front and we can call it a day without the hassle...Just a few tips on how to deal with people.. First give them a chance to atleast look around before you attack, Don't try to sell us what you don't want sitting on the lot, give us the actual asking price and be honest.. I could have spent my time in a lot better way today and you could have made money if you had just been up front with me like I was with you..The only decent thing about today was Thomas and you need to work on your timing.
