Buyer Beware

I purchased a used 2003 Toyota Solara at Dick Dyer Toyota in November 2003. When I bought the vehicle, I specifically asked the salesman if the vehicle had been in an accident before. He said No. I recently traded that car to replace it with a Honda CR-V and found out that the Solara had been previously in an accident. It was reported in Carfax, but the salesman lied to me and did not tell me about the frame damage to the vehicle. If I would have traded the vehicle for fair market value KBB or NADA, the trade in would have been at approximately $8-9,000. However, since the vehicle had been in a previous accident I only received $5000. Beware of SC used car sales laws. Don't be in a rush to purchase/replace your car. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT!!! They lied to me and they will lie to you.
